Refractometric measurements of optical liquids in the ultraviolet

摘要
Measurements are made of the refractive index and dispersion of optical liquids using a differential method relative to a standard sample in the ultraviolet (lambda greater than or equal to 253.6 nm). A measuring cell suitable for these measurements is described. Numerical values of the refractive indices are given for four liquids with an error between 10(-4) and 2 X 10(-5) and values of the dispersion are given to within (0.6-5)X 10-5.
