The NOMAD experiment is searching for nu (mu) <----> nu (tau) oscillations at the CERN-SPS wide band neutrino beam. The data collection was completed at the end of 1998. The analysis has been improved and includes the full data sample. No evidence has been found for the presence of oscillated nu (tau) This allows to establish a new limit on the oscillation probability P(nu (mu) <----> nu (tau)) less than or equal to 4.2 . 10(-4) at 90%, C.L., which corresponds to a limit on the oscillation angle sin(2)(2 theta) less than or equal to 8.4 . 10(-4) in the region of high deltam(2) and to deltam(2) less than or equal to 0.8 eV(2) for full mixing.
