Geomagnetic field modeling with regard to geomagnetic jerks

摘要：
A spatial-temporal model of the geomagnetic field has been constructed for the 20th century as the sets of coefficients of the spherical harmonic expansion, taking into account the fine structure of the geomagnetic field dynamics in the form of the second time derivatives. Obtained spatial models have been compared with IGRF and IZMIRAN models for the epochs of existence of the latter two models. It has been indicated that the calculated model is in good agreement with models based on direct observations with respect to the description of LF structures of the geomagnetic field generated in the Earth's liquid core.
