Improved method for robust decentralized control of multi-area power systems with loop structure

摘要
The problems of robust decentralized control for a class of multi-area power systems with loop structure are discussed. A new control method is presented, which can improve the robust decentralized control performances of the loop structure interconnected systems. In the method, the special overlapping decomposition process is carried on for the loop structure based on the restriction conditions of inclusion principle. Then the robust decentralized controllers are designed by using linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. The proposed method is applied to AGC of a three-area loop structure power system, a-ad the simulation results show that the performances of the controllers designed by using proposed method are better than the one by using LMI approach directly.
