摘要
The purpose of this study was to understand what behaviors and perceptions are associated with oversharing on social media. A survey of 410 undergraduate college students defined "oversharing" in their own words, iden-tified topics that they considered to be a part of that category, and revealed differences in their perceptions of oversharing among various social media sites. Results of this study can help scholars understand human be-haviors that occur online and how they may impact interpersonal communication.
