摘要：
We define the rank of elements of give several examples to support characterization of rank in terms of that every element in the socle of a general unital rings, discuss its properties and the definition. In semiprime rings we give a invertible elements. As an application we prove unital semiprime ring is unit-regular. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
