摘要
The effects of reaction time and acid concentration on the yield of lignin released in organosolv processes were investigated in this paper. 1.0 N2SO4 catalysed aqueous ethanol (ethanol-water, 60/40, v/v) treatment at 75 degrees for 2 h resulted in more than 40% lignin removal and over 50% hemicelluloses release. The chemical compositions of the isolated organosolv lignins are reported. The characteristics of the lignin fractions were further investigated by gel-permeation chromatography (GPC), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and C-13 nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.
