摘要
A broadband W-band microwave power module (MPM) is demonstrated. It provides a continuous wave (CW) output power of 65 W from 91 to 97 GHz with a constant driving power of 0 dBm. The MPM consists of a miniaturized folded-waveguide traveling-wave tube (TWT), an integrated power conditioner (IPC), and a gain equalizing solid-state amplifier (GE-SSA). The overall efficiency exceeds 20 % and the saturation gain fluctuation is lower than 0.8 dB. It has dimensions of 380 mm x 180 mm x 45 mm and a weight of 5.5 kg.
