Analysis of the Network Rumor Propagation of the Emergency in China-a Weibo Case Study on "JingWen Incident"

With the rapid development of internet in current times, it has been a major risk of social stability that We Media like WeChat and micro-blog are used to broadcast net rumors. This makes the public security organs are badly in need of an in-depth study of net rumors' characteristics and regular pattern, finding a theory that could deal with net rumors, and making out more legitimate, reasonable and feasible measures in early-warning, prevention and disposing. In this paper, the author took the "JingWen incident" as an example, collected more than 20000 micro-blog data after the incident, and chose 3 representative peak data of public opinion to analyze the rumors' generation and evolution, from the net public opinion and rumors' time, focus points and relations. The author also gives some specific suggestions on how to grasp the net rumors' broadcasting regulation, and how to build up proper mechanisms in monitoring and judging, dealing and guiding, recovering and preventing, rebuilding social trust and crisis PR.
