摘要
Transport phenomena in clean ferromagnet-superconductor ferromagnet trilayers are studied theoretically for a general case of arbitrary relative orientation of in-plane magnetisations and interface transparencies. Generalised expressions for scattering probabilities are derived and differential conductance and magnetoresistance are computed using solutions of the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equation. We focus on size and coherence effects that characterise ballistic transport, in particular on the subgap transmission and geometrical oscillations of the conductance. We find a monotonic dependence of conductance spectra on the angle of misorientation of magnetisations as their alignment is changed from parallel to antiparallel. In contrast to the diffusive case, no substantial impact of long-range spin-triplet superconducting correlations on the conductance has been found.
