A Secured Digital Video Watermarking in Chrominance Channel

摘要
This paper presents the protection of unencoded video content from copying by inserting a scrambled watermark in the chrominance channel. In order to increase security, before inserting, the watermark is scrambled by a chaotic GMSAT map. Insertion was performed in a DWT-SVD domain with a reliable SVD algorithm in the U component of the YUV color model. The decoded video frames have extracted watermarks that were used to repair the quality. Based on the results of the performed experiments, it can be concluded that the quality of the protected video is excellent, and that the watermark of the good quality is extracted. The proposed algorithm can be efficiently used to protect video from copying and illegal distribution.
