摘要
Gastropod fossils are abundant, but they are rarely preserved in amber. Two new terrestrial gastropods, Euthema naggsi gen. et sp. nov. and Cretatortulosa multilinea gen. et sp. nov., are described from mid Cretaceous amber of northern Myanmar. Euthema naggsi and Cretatortulosa multilinea are the earliest records of the Diplommatinidae and Pupinidae, respectively. The discovery is consistent with the evidence suggesting a tropical rainforest climate for the mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber forest. (C) 2018 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
