摘要
Based on the full sequence of the nanH gene encoding sialidase in the non-toxigenic strain Vibrio cholerae non-O1/13, a comparison to similar sequences from O1 V. cholerae and other sialidase producers is carried out. The dendrogram generated from these data supplements the knowledge of the nanH spreading amidst the representatives of the genus Vibrio. Purified enzyme from the same strain is examined for presence of oligosaccharide component and for the first time it was demonstrated that sialidase of a V. cholerae strain is a glycoprotein.
