摘要
This paper presents a compact reconfigurable 5G microstrip antenna based on monopole and switchable guide and reflector. The antenna is composed of regular rectangular patches, irregular ground patch and two symmetrical "L" shaped patches. The monopole antenna is constituted by the upper regular patch, and the electrical length of the radiation patch is controlled by four p-i-n diode switches, so as to realized the two different frequency bands of 3.3GHz-3.6GHz and 4.8GHz-5.0GHz in the communication system of 5G operators, and 2.4GHz in the ISM band. Then, the "L" shaped patch connected to the ground patch is controlled by the p-i-n diode switches to realize the free swith between the guide and the reflector. Therefore, the antenna can be reconstructed in six different radiation patterns on the basis of three different frequency bands. The dual-reconfigurable antenna with frequency and radiation pattern has great advantages in miniaturization, multifunctionalization and intelligentization of microwave devices, and has a good development space, suitable for missile satellites, unmanned vehicles, intelligent communications, etc.
