摘要
The article presents the AC power supply installation. The AC electric arc furnace, due to the dynamic nature of the electric arc work, has a negative effect on the supply network in the form of generating higher harmonics, voltage fluctuations and asymmetries. Selected results of measurements on the low-voltage side are presented, where non-linear arc currents are a source of disturbances and at the high-voltage network connection point. The installation of an arc furnace at the medium voltage level is equipped with a three-branch passive higher harmonics filter, which has a dual function: harmonics reduction and reactive power compensation for the basic component. The analysis of AC arc furnace operation for the full steel smelting cycle including melting (first and second scrap bin) and refining is shown.
