Cerebellum may contribute to generate late component N35 of scalp-recorded cortical potentials

摘要
Object: Generators of N35 in SEPs were studied. Methods: SEPs in patients with focal cerebral or cerebello-brainstem lesions were studied by electrical stimulation of the medican nerve at the wrist. Results: N35 was absent in cases involving areas 1, 2 or inferior cerebellar peduncle. Conclusion: N35 is generated from areas 1 and 2, and N20 from area 3. However, 15 msec seems to be long for their distnace. cerebellum may contribute to generate N35.
