摘要
YBCO monoliths used in a PM/SC arrangement of a magnetic bearing of a cryogenic LH2 vessel were melt-textured by VGF, MTG and TSMG methods. The differences in j(c) between large-grained and single-domain samples decreases strongly with decreasing temperature. It seems that at a distinct temperature weak links due to grain boundaries become ineffective leading to a strong increase of the measured magnetic moment of the large-grained samples. Simultaneously, the measured levitation forces of the large-grained samples strongly increase with decreasing temperature. At low temperatures the levitation forces of large-grained and single-domain samples are nearly identical.
