摘要
This special issue, Research into Neurorehabilitation, presents systematic and empirical reviews of studies on therapies for patients with acquired brain damage and includes an interview with one of the leading figures in the field of neuropsychological rehabilitation, Prof. Barbara A. Wilson. Throughout the interview, Barbara A. Wilson explains why she decided to dedicate herself to this area of psychology and the challenges that this speciality will have to address in the future. The review and empirical studies in this special edition deal with the most pertinent and innovative treatment techniques in neurocognitive disorders, robotic systems applied to rehabilitation and other methodologies, and explore the latest advances in rehabilitation and brain function recovery and plasticity processes.
