摘要
The term information system has lately acquired two meanings. Under one meaning the concern is with representation techniques, and infrastructure, such as animation, workflow or data base management, internet access, and mobile computing. We call this the technology aspect. Under the second meaning the concern is with the modeling of domains and enterprises, and the development of systems based on such models. This we call the conceptual aspect, and our contribution relates to the conceptual aspect. A conceptual model can be regarded as consisting of an information model and a process model. Here we consider modularization principles for the process model, and their effect on modification of the models in the contexts of product-line development and maintenance.
