摘要
This paper is a contribution to the understanding of three aspects of modern science. It is necessary to understand the role of Chemistry and Pharmacy and how they contribute to improving the quality of life. Pharmacists are professionals trained in Pharmacy and who can work in various areas involved in quality of life such as health (various clinical and hospital areas), preparation of medicines in the pharmaceutical and pharmochemical industries (development of generic and innovative drugs, quality control, regulatory guidelines, microbiological control, marketing, among others), clinical analysis laboratories, food industries (control, development, marketing, regulatory guidelines, production and analysis, among others) and professional training. The Chemistry professional is the professional capable of planning and carrying out chemical transformations by methods that control the formation of products in several areas such as production of pharmaceutical chemicals, oil, cosmetics, polymers, paint, pigments, nanomaterials, food, biofuels, analysis of drinks and quality control. Quality of life is a comprehensive term and difficult to define, but whose perception is a common sense that it is necessary to have physical and mental health, environmental quality and socio-economic quality.
