摘要
Industry 4.0 is the next revolution in human history that already began. Except for new technologies that are introduced to people's lives and businesses the revolution also brings new ways of thinking, not only, about employment. The Industry 4.0, as all previous industry revolutions, will change the labor market in some way. New jobs will be created, but some will be disappear. In this context it is necessary for governments to he able to reflect and be prepared for these changes to maintain the quality of their citizen's standard of living and to secure the labor market. In this paper we will observe the situation on the labor market of Slovakia and we will discuss the readiness of the labor market and job security. Slovakian labor market is industry-oriented market which could lead to a great job insecurity in the future if the market is not flexible enough. In this work, we deal with several aspects and trends of the current issue of individual flexibility, as well as the problems of ever-increasing globalization that offer us new challenges and challenges for the future.
