摘要
Advanced networking services, such as Intranet/Internet services can provide a basis for integration of knowledge and information on university level and in the same time provide a basis for distance education and learning. At our university we have built an Integrated Agent-Based University Information System (IABUIS) consisting of following four modules: Student Administration Management System (SAMS), Library Information System (LIS), Distance Learning System (DLS) and University Management Information System (UMIS). In this paper, we will present a structure of an Integrated Agent-Based University Information System (IABUIS). The IABUIS is an e-university environment in a provision of agent-based e-learning concepts, technology and digital content unification, digital libraries standardization and information management integration. An idea of agent-based testing subsystem for estimation of the student's grade level which is the main measure for dynamic generation of the content view is also presented in the paper. The System is available at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje, but there are no limits to be used by other universities in Macedonia or in some neighboring countries.
