摘要
CO2 emission caused by fossil energy consumption is the main reason to the increment of greenhouse gases. According to China's energy consumption and carbon emission characteristics, based on the Kaya model, this paper will analyze the main influencing factors and model the influence of four driving factors of carbon emissions: the energy structure, energy intensity, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and population. In light of the relationship between China's energy consumption and carbon emissions in 1990-2009, this paper has made an empirical analysis to quantify the contribution rates of the effects, and promoted the corresponding policy recommendations on the improvement of energy reduction based on the data analysis.
