摘要
In this paper we give a concise overview of various optical applications of Liquid Crystalline side-chain polymers. The possibility to tune the LC structure and phase-diagrams, as well as the availability of methods to create specific structures in the director field, allows materials to be developed for data-storage media and as optical compensation films for LC display applications.
