摘要：
The developments of staggered truss system in China are outlined in this paper. The architectural and structural and economical features of the staggered-truss are summarized. An illustration of the behavior of the system under static and earthquake or wind loadings is presented by analyzing some engineering example. The results show this system has good static and seismic behavior and is an efficient structural system for resistance to lateral loading caused by earthquake or wind. Finally, the further development direction of the staggered truss system is pointed out.
