An Analysis on Trade Relations and Structure Between China and ASEAN

In the 21st century, China-ASEAN relations have developed into a new stage. In the trend of economic globalization and integration, China has proposed the "Silk Road in the 21st Century" strategy, which has played a positive role in promoting the trade relations between China and ASEAN countries. In essence, China and ASEAN countries have constructed 21st century maritime Silk Road, that is, not only a strategic concept for China to promote regional economic cooperation, but also an important manifestation of China's deepening opening-up strategy. The article studied the trade development and trade structure between New Four States of ASEAN and China. This paper points out that the trade structure between China and ASEAN should be actively optimized and adjusted so as to realize the complementarity and cooperation of competition in the future.
