摘要：
The Institute of Scientific Information (ISI), has recently published its evaluation of the citation performance of scientific journals in 1996, i.e., the 1996 ISI Impact Factors. The results for Advanced Materials, Chemical Vapor Deposition, and their sister journal Acta Polymerica are presented and compared with results for competing journals in similar fields. The values demonstrate the success of these three journals, proving that articles published in them are read. Congratulations to the editors and authors!
