Patterns of energy flux in periodic solutions of Klein-Gordon lattices

摘要
Using the concepts of anti-continuity, we present a new class of exact time periodic linearly stable solutions of discrete anharmonic lattices. These states are arbitrary distributions of breathers, the phase of which varies spatially. This phase variation implies the existence of a stationary Aux of energy propagating through the pattern determined by the breather distribution. II is thus possible to form vortices, multivortices and other more complex and arbitrary patterns in the energy flow. Copyright (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
