Design of a Range-Gated Laser Active Imaging Experimental System

摘要
We have designed an experimental system to study the range-gated laser active imaging technology. The experimental system includes ICCD (Intensified Charge Coupled Device), short-pulse laser, control board, image board and computer We focused on the design of the control board and the software. The control board is designed based on FPGA. It is used to generate pulses to trigger laser ICCD and image board, and supply adjustable reference voltage to control the ICCD gain. The software is used to control the control board and the image board. To control the control board, the software sets the parameters for generating pulses and the reference voltage. To control the image board, the software sets the parameters for image collecting, displays and saves the images. We carried out lots of experiments with this experimental system. The experiment results indicate that this system have good performance.
