Two new species of the orthocentrine genus Megastylus panamensis fallax and Megastylus panamensis, are described. Megastylus panamensis constitutes the first record of this genus from the Neotropical Region. The systematics of New World Megastylus are briefly discussed. Orthocentrinae are shown to be koinobiont endoparasitoids.
