摘要
The listed companies in the A share of Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets from 2009 to 2013 were used as the research objects in this paper which has investigated on research and development (R&D) investment intensity of enterprises ranking in "Top 500" consistently for five consecutive years in China. The analysis has found that for R&D intensity, the average is around 2% and maximum is over 10%, and it shows an increasing trend in general. In view of the overall situation, paying more and more attention to R&D is the common characteristic of enterprises ranking in "Top 500" for five consecutive years, which illustrates that attaching great importance to R&D is a significant factor determining whether enterprises can be listed in "Top 500" consistently.
