摘要
The posthumous work of Louis-Rene des Forets, Pas a pas jusqu'au dernier, made up of joined fragments revised by the author before his death, first appears as an extremely lucid testimony intended for the "animated" beings that are language and memory, while it shows, with a strictness exempt of all prudery, the quest for a voice, that would never have been his. This rare moment in the writer's work, lived with the consciousness of his imminent death, seems to inscribed in an impulsion already retrospective. In opening himself to "les bienfaits que procurent la perspective de la mort", des Forets has played against the classical linearity of time, while following it step by step, or rather "pas a pas". The author, and this will be the underlying proposition of this paper, will have attempted to grasp not only the last instant that would welcome him in the neutral space of death, but also the after-last instant upon which his voice would coincide with the Voice of the world.
