Supramolecular complexes of β-cyclodextrin with surfactants

摘要：
New complexes were obtained by the interaction of beta-cyclodextrin with surfactants, such as monoalkyl ethers of poly(ethylene glycol), Triton X-100, Tvin-80, and oxyethylated fatty acids (oleoxes and stearoxes). The combination of thermogravimetry with IR, H-1, and C-13 NMR spectroscopy reveals that the components react to form the inclusion compounds. The complexes are formed via hydrophobic interactions involving the inner cavity of beta-cyclodextrin and the surfactants.
