摘要
To satisfy the demands for small, light, low-cost Wi-Fi antennas, an omnidirectional dual-band printed antenna based on a router circuit board is proposed in this paper. The dual-band antenna has high gain and a low profile, and can cover the entire WLAN band. The overall dimensions of the proposed antenna are 170mmx110mmx10mm, and the size of the radiators is 110mmx41mmx10mm. The bandwidth of the antenna below -10dB covers 2.4-2.5GHz and 5-6GHz. The gain can reach 3.5dBi at 2.4GHz, 5.9dBi at 5.2GHz, and 5.4dBi at 5.8GHz. The proposed dual-band antenna can be used in high-gain router applications and various wireless communication systems.
