摘要：
This paper explored the formation mechanism of atomic industrial clusters of traditional manufacture. Our exploratory study chooses Nanzhuang Town, located in Foshan City, Guangdong Province, China, as the case. It produces building ceramics, and it is a typical cluster growing up from null in recent twenty years. We interviewed many local participants in this industry and gathered lots of useful materials about the formation process of Nanzhuang cluster. Evidences proved our model on formation mechanism of industrial clusters, imitation - network effect mechanism.
