摘要
The prevention of human LDL peroxidation by a vitamin E derivative has been studied by steady state radiolysis. The consequences of the action of increasing radiation doses have been monitored by several parameters : the formation of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS), the decrease in endogenous vitamin E and the decrease of vitamin E analog. The obtained results indicate the protective effect of the vitamin E analog against the peroxidation initiated by OHo/O2(o-) free radicals in the presence of oxygen.
