摘要：
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the symbolic and material elements of the electoral stage through cases and facts of political violence strategies that affected the free exercise of citizens' rights, as reflected in 2018 in the most violent election of the country. Within the process of unfinished political consolidation in Mexico, political violence, expressed in different forms and modalities, erodes trust and governability, and is a sign of risk for the consolidation of democracy.
