Magnetic-field-induced Mott transitions at double exchange

摘要
The magnetic-field-induced insulator-to-metal transition in systems with double exchange (manganites, for example) is explained by the dependence of the Mott charge carrier delocalization density on the sample magnetization. This transition cannot be explained by the charge ordering in the antiferromagnetic state and its melting in the ferromagnetic state, as this ordering should be destroyed by the impurity electrostatic potential.
