摘要
In this paper, the improvement of the light load efficiency for the ultrahigh step-down converter is presented. By the proposed novel pulse skipping control method, the 3% efficiency can be improved at 15% load condition. Although the switching frequency used in this mode is reduced, the number of energy transfers is unchanged, leading to less significant interference in output ripple.
