摘要：
The authors deal with the problem of pollution of the town of Svirsk (Siberia, Russian Federation) with toxic wastes from mining and metallurgical industry. Areas of heavy metal pollution of superficial soil layers are established. The principal technological approaches to neutralization of the pollution source are presented.
