Research on technologies and index system of building energy saving in China

Building energy saving is an important aspect in energy saving field. At present, the technologies for building energy saving in China are yet on primary level, comparison with that in developed counties. And, statistical index system for energy consumption of building has not been constructed. There are many works for building energy saving to be done in the future. In this paper, six main problems were pointed out after reasoned analysis on law, policy, standard system and propulsion mechanism in China, mainly considering two aspects, the building energy saving technologies and energy saving index system. In the last, six working proposals were provided correspondingly.
