摘要
Steel-concrete composite columns with high strength concrete filled steel tube are used extensively in modern buildings. In this paper, a new constructional type has been introduced with emphasis on experimental and analytical work. The variables studied is steel ratio which influence the ductility and capacity. The results of theoretical analysis are proved to be fitting with those of the former test. Finally, the simplified calculating formula of circular steel tube composite short column filled with steel reinforced concrete under axial load is suggested.
