Determination of zirconium by indirect atomic absorption spectrometry

摘要
The zirconium was determined indirectly based on the replacement of Cu in copper-N-Nitrosophenyl hydroxylamine by Zr(IV), and then determinaed Cu in the replaced solution by atomic absorption spectrometry. The sensitivity for the determination of zirconium is 0.07 x 10(-6) mg/L/1%, the linear calibration curve is obtained in the ragne of 0 similar to 5.0 mg/L, The methods is selective and highly sensitive. It has been applied to the determination of trace zirconium in alpha-beta Al2O3 and porcelain glaze samples with satisfactory results.
