摘要
The effect of high-energy milling of arsenic sulphide As4S4 on its phase transition has been studied. The transition of alpha-As4S4 to the high- temperature beta-As4S4 as well as the formation of As4S4 nanosize powder (16-48 nm) has been described. The presence of beta-As4S4 has been proven by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy. The fine particles were characterized by measurement of specific surface area and particle size distribution. (c) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
