摘要：
As process of globalization accelerates continuously, English has become a dominant language in the whole world so far. In English teaching, teaching quality depends on teachers' level. In addition, teachers' professional development enables their teaching level to be improved obviously. This thesis mainly focuses on studying primary school English teachers' professional development in Southern Shaanxi, analyzes existing problems and proposes corresponding countermeasures in order to provide reference so that professional development of primary school English teachers in Southern Shaanxi can be accelerated.
