摘要
Recent advances in data analytics have given rise to the field of big data and machine learning. This field has the potential to transform medicine, incorporating genomic and other omic as well as electronic health record (EHR) and other clinical data. The goal is personalized medicine. This article provides an overview of the challenges and opportunities of this emerging science.
