摘要
A new molten salt method is designed to synthesize spinel LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 cathode material, and the reaction medium NaCl is in situ formed in the process of precursor preparation via room temperature solid-state reactions. Pure LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 can be successfully synthesized at 950 degrees C in an open alumina crucible in air and a further rise in heating temperature leads to the appearance of a small amount of impurity. Electrochemical test shows that the LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 obtained at 1000 degrees C has the best electrochemical performance and can deliver a high capacity of 134 mAh g(-1) with excellent cycling stability.
