摘要
Current organization theory and strategic management literature that relate to knowledge management focus either on specific management levels (strategic, tactic or operational) or on specific organization perspectives (inside or outside). However, relations between management levels and relations between organization and environment are often reciprocal. An integrated theoretical framework is therefore suggested in this paper. The objective of study has been an integration of management and environment components allowing assessment of identified components in a specific context a particular organization is in. Underlying premise: assumptions on how to organize are the outcome of the interplay between environment and management, i.e. situational fit.
