摘要
Manufacturing of optical transceivers have been widely outsourced. This paper examines reasons for outsourcing of optical transceivers. Common practice in outsourcing is examined. Comparison to outsourcing practice for other industries is described. Base on this information, the trend of future outsourcing model is predicted.
