Concentration distribution represented by breakthrough curves for propane, n-butane, and iso-butane mixture on 5A molecular sieve zeolite were obtained experimentally at a constant temperature of 301 K. The temperature distribution curves were also studied. The effect of feed flow rate, feed pressure, and adsorbates composition on these breakthrough curves was examined. The spacing of the pressure waves of adsorbates (propane and n-butane) was enough to indicate that 5A molecular sieve zeolite could be used as a separating agent for these components.
